Kay Polsue Bevan (née Mogford)
Kay Polsue Bevan (née Mogford) was born and brought up in Cornwall. She learned to cook from her Cornish mother. She left Cornwall to follow a career as a speech and language therapist and a developmental psychologist. During her working life she carried out research and taught at two English Universities for over 25 years. She retired to Cornwall in 1998 with her husband where she has enjoyed entertaining and cooking for family and friends. Since retiring she has also developed an interest in family and Cornish history. A Cornish Grandmother’s Family Favourites is a book that arose from a synthesis of these interests.
